The suit must be thought of as a whole greater than the sum of its parts. While all that you've learned about flattery and fit of pants, skirts and jackets still applies to the suit, there is an added concern when it comes time to put tops and bottoms together. It's their proportion in relation to one another.
Fullness: At least one piece of the outfit, top of bottom, should fit close to the body - not bodysuit tight but just tight enough to show some shape. Also, to enhance the straight vertical created by wearing a suit, your skirt or pants should flow seamlessly out of the jacket. what you're striving for is to have everything lie perfectly flat. The pants or skirt should not be constricted by the jacket, nor should they cause it to puff or flare out.
Length: The goal here is to avoid cutting yourself in half visually. So think of your outfit from shoulder to hem as a while. Two-thirds of that whole should be the top and one-third the bottom, or vice versa, depending on your body's proportions. To put it simply, long over short or short over long. While striking this balance with all suits takes careful consideration, it is especially tricky with skirt or dress and jacket suits. Pant suits are easier to manage because your pants will almost always be the longer part of your outfit.
Figure falttery is not just about camouflage and diversion - it's also about a balancing act. The length of your legs in relation to your torso, the width of your shoulders in relation to your hips - these things matter to your overall appearance and just like everything else, they can be manipulated.

A Success

We wanted to thank everyone who came out April 20th to support "A Night to Remember" that was hosted in conjunction with The Girls Bra Shop. This event was a fundraiser for KV Outreach, specifically supporting the issues of domestic violence for woman. We raised over $1,100 dollars for this amazing cause and we couldn't have done it without your help.
Our models did an excellent job! All of them had a great time, modeled fantastic clothes and bras from around the world and above all had a amazing attitude! We also wanted to thank our sponsors, we couldn't have made it quite the night to remember without you! Grape d'Vine, Vogue Optical, Tricotto, IT Jeans, Diva, Conrad C, Sobeys, Superstore, Reiker, Jag Jeans, Elaine Wilkie (Custom Jewelery) and Big Day Foto!
Thank you once again for everyone who helped make this night special. We had a fantastic time and we hope you did as well!

10 Sexy Pieces Every Woman Needs!
Here's a little checklist of essentials that if you have these in your closet you'll always be stylish.
- A pair of black, closed toe, two or three-inch Heels. They will go with everything -- even jeans, and the heel height won't leave you crippled if you're on your feet all day. Look for leather, which will stretch and breathe and be most comfortable, as opposed to man-made materials.
- A pair of slimming, dark denim Jeans. The cut and waist isn't so much of an issue as long as you choose what fits your body type and the wash is a deep midnight blue and they fit like a glove.
- A V-Neck Cashmere Sweater. A little loose and a little plunging. Choose a color that flatters your complexion -- vibrant red or ultra-slimming navy or black are usually best.
- A pair of diamond stud Earrings (real or faux). Every girl feels like a princess in these, and they add instant glamour to even a T-shirt and jeans.
- A great Bra that really fits. Go and get measured; try one on and look at yourself from all angles, and make sure it does what it's supposed to do: life, separate, support and minimize or maximize.
- An A-Line Skirt. Universally figure flattering. If you've voluptuous, keep the length longer. If you have great legs, look for a mini. The colour and fabric don't matter either -- as long as you love it!
- A little Black Dress. The style -- strapless, cap-sleeved, long-sleeved -- it is completely up to you. But simple and elegant is key. You can always dress it up with accessories.
- A great Everyday Bag. Choose one that is made well, in a good material with nice hardware. It should be big enough to carry all your essentials, yet shouldn't be so big that people mistake it for luggage. Again, you don't have to spend a small fortune. Just look for a style that suits you and is in proportion to your body and height. There are so many choices available -- Satchel, Sling or Backpack.
- A great Evening Bag. A simple black satin clutch or a gold or silver beaded one goes with everything, and adds instant glamour to even the most mundane black suit or dress.
